The Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to the wellbeing and quality of life of our community.  We provide the best in programs, parks and services at a great value to our customers.  Brentwood has 234 developed acres of parkland, 70 award winning parks and facilities, 19.2 miles of beautiful trails, and 60 miles of bike lanes.  We offer over 100 recreational activities and events for people of all ages and interests.

City of Brentwood Named Playful City for 2017

May 17, 2017 

National non-profit KaBOOM! is honoring Brentwood with a 2017 Playful City USA designation for the 10th time in a row! Playful City USA honors cities and towns across the country for putting the needs of families first so kids can learn, grow and develop important life skills. These communities are transforming ordinary places into playful spaces and using play as a solution to the challenges facing their residents.

Water Play Features in Parks

March 30, 2017 

The water play features in City Park, Rainbow's End Park, Blue Goose Park, and Dolphin Park will be all be turned on for the season on April 1st and will run daily from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Water play features will remain on through October 31st. Stop by and cool off in these awesome parks!
