Affordable Housing Program



Are you ready to own your own home in the City of Brentwood? The City's FTHB/AH Program may be able to assist you in making homeownership a reality.

The City of Brentwood’s Housing Division is accepting wait list applications from income qualified households who are interested in purchasing an affordable single family home under the City’s First Time Homebuyer Program/Affordable Housing Program.  Applicants must qualify as “very low-income, low-income, or moderate-income”, be a first time homebuyer, and have a good credit score.

Deadline date to submit an application is September 30, 2021 at 5pm. postmarks after September 30, 2021 will not be accepted. Incomplete, faxed, or emailed applications will not be accepted. 

Only one application per household will be accepted. Selection of wait list applicants to purchase a program unit is by lottery; no timelines can be given for selection

The City's Affordable Housing Wait list Application is not part of or for the Housing Voucher Program (Section 8).  The City does not administer or manage the housing voucher program.   The housing voucher program (Section 8) is administered by the Contra Costa County Housing Authority.  For information on the Housing Voucher (Section 8) Program please contact: (925) 957-7000
