Brentwood residents that have an active garbage account are invited to participate in our FREE Neighborhood Cleanup Events. Residents can bring up to 2 cubic yards (1 pickup truck load or a small utility trailer load) of unwanted household items including general yard waste, appliances, furniture, mattresses, metal, computers, TV’s and other electronic waste, free of charge, to the Brentwood Transfer Station.
Face Covering Requirement: In order to participate in the Cleanup Events and to protect all participants and City staff (in accordance to current Contra Costa Health Services requirements), participants must be prepared to wear a face covering at all times. This requirement begins upon first interacting with staff at the front gate until departure of the premises. *Registration closes 48 hours prior to the event date.
*Residents may register for one Spring event and one Fall event.
*There is a maximum of 700 vehicles per day allowed by permit.
