The Community Development Department will hold a Community Meeting to discuss the approach to the new Residential Objective Design Standard (ODS). The ODS will provide design standards that are intended to provide a basis for the review and approval of residential projects (both single-family and multifamily) based on objective, measurable, and verifiable design criteria that seek to ensure new residential development is attractive, compatible, appropriately scaled, and visually harmonious with existing neighborhoods and environments within Brentwood.
The community is invited to provide input on shaping the guidelines to uphold the highest standards in residential building design.
This meeting is facilitated by De Novo Planning Group and JZMK Partners, alongside City staff. Resident feedback will be incorporated into the Drafted Preliminary Guidelines.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the City Council Chambers. A Zoom link for this meeting is provided below for residents who cannot appear in person. However, this is an interactive community meeting, and residents are encouraged to attend in person.
