Permit Center staff are available via email, phone, or in-person with an appointment or during walk-in hours. Please contact the Permit Center by calling 925-516-5405 or emailing building@brentwoodca.gov.

Payments cannot be taken after 4pm daily.


Customers Wanting to Submit Applications, Plans, and Documents to the Community Development Department

  • Customers can submit Planning and Building applications, plans, or documents to Community Development staff in five different ways: 1) through the Electronic Submittal Portal, 2) by scheduling an appointment, 3) by visiting City Hall during walk-in hours, 4) any time during normal business hours in the designated drop-off area in the permit center, and 5) through USPS or other delivery services.
  • Customers may set up an appointment time to submit materials by calling (925) 516-5405 or by e-mailing building@brentwoodca.gov.

Customers Wanting to Receive Permits, Plans, and Documents From the Community Development Department

  • Customers can also receive permits, plans, or documents from Community Development staff in the following ways: 1) downloading your documents from the Electronic Submittal Portal, 2) scheduling an appointment, 3) visiting the Permit Center during walk-in hours, 4) from staff in the designated pick-up area in the permit center, or 5) through USPS or other delivery services, as requested.
  • Customers may set up an appointment time to receive materials by calling (925) 516-5405 or by e-mailing building@brentwoodca.gov.
