Agricultural Enterprise Committee
This committee reviews policies, projects, and programs directly related to agricultural enterprise within the City and along the City’s boundaries in the County’s Agricultural Core. The scope of this committee is broadly defined to include: development of policies and procedures relating to the implementation of the City’s agricultural preservation and agri-tourism programs, consider City funded agri-business programs and projects funded by Agricultural Mitigation Fees.
The committee is assisted by staff primarily from the Economic Development Division in the City Manager's Office, and the Community Development Department. When agenda items are scheduled, this committee meets quarterly as needed on the first Monday of March, June, September and December at 5:00 p.m. View Agricultural Enterprise Committee Agendas.

Land Use and Development Committee
This committee reviews items relating to major land use, community development, economic development, and housing policy topics, as well as citywide areas of interest, including but not limited to: general plan, zoning, permit processing, strategic initiatives, ordinances, economic development projects and programs, affordable housing projects and programs, and other major matters or projects that could affect Council policy, or result in a significant expenditure of City staff or financial resources. This committee will include the Chair of the Planning Commission, who will serve in an advisory, non-voting role.
The committee is assisted by staff primarily from the Community Development Department and Economic Development Division of the City Manager's Office. When agenda items are scheduled, this committee meets on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.; should the regular meeting day fall on a City holiday, the meeting will be held on the following Monday. Municipal Code Review Committee
This committee reviews the City’s municipal code, and makes recommendations to staff on updates that may be needed.
This committee will meet bi-annually with special meetings as needed, the Council appointed Pierson/Oerlemans and with the committee to meet on the 2nd Wednesday in July and January at 5:30 PM. View Municipal Code Review Committee Agendas.
