Household hazardous waste (HHW) such as oil, batteries, paint, e-waste, fluorescent bulbs, etc., cannot be placed in the garbage. Delta Diablo, in partnership with the City of Brentwood, operates the regional HHW drop-off facility and holds three annual HHW collection events for far east county residents. The next annual HHW drop-off event will be held on October 12th, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at the Brentwood Transfer Station (2301 Elkins Way).
