Rates & Billing Information

In accordance with the adopted 2023 Water, Waste Water and Solid Waste rate studies, fees will increase on July 1, 2024. View the Adopted Rate Studies.

You will receive a monthly bill for water, sewer and garbage services. Monthly billings will be distributed according to the chart below. To find the zone that your property is located in refer to the Cycle Map.

A late charge will be applied if your payment is not received by your due date. If payment is not received within sixty (60) days after the billing date, water service will be subject to disconnection.

Residential Water Service

Water - meters are read monthly. One unit = 1,000 gallons.

Sewer Usage Fee	$19.91 - $71.95 maximum For new residential customers in new construction, charges will be based on the citywide residential average wastewater usage due to lack of actual usage history. New residential customers in an existing dwelling will be charged the the citywide residential average.

Residential Garbage Service

Garbage is serviced weekly. Recycling and yard waste are serviced on alternate weeks. Refer to the Brentwood Solid Waste Garbage, Recycling & Yard Waste Service Guide for further information.

Your garbage price is based on the size of the brown household trash cart that you select. There are three sizes. Regardless of the size of your brown cart, you can choose any of the three sizes for your blue recycling cart and your green yard waste cart.
