Brentwood Police Department currently provides fingerprinting services to the public. We offer both: Livescan Fingerprinting, which is electronic fingerprinting, as well as the traditional ink fingerprint cards. Fingerprint services are available by appointment only every Tuesday (excluding holidays), between the hours of 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. Appointments are booked in 20-minute increments.

There is a Brentwood Police Department service fee for either method of prints, and there may be additional Department of Justice charges, which will vary depending on the type of fingerprinting requested. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, Visa or MasterCard, debit cards and business checks made payable to the City of Brentwood. No personal checks will be accepted. What to bring with you to the appointment:

• Completed Livescan or ink card forms and hard print card(s), with all of your personal information completed as well as the requesting party's originating agency identification number (ORI)
• Photo Identification
• Acceptable method of payment

Persons who are required to register and be fingerprinted as an arson, narcotic or sex offender must do so by appointment only with the appropriate personnel. Court Ordered Bookings are also scheduled by appointment only on Tuesdays between the hours of 1:00pm and 3:00pm in 30 minute increments. You must have either your driver's license or identification card with you at the time of the appointment.

Please be on time for all fingerprint appointments. If you are late, you may be asked to reschedule.
