Municipal Code - Solid Waste: Brentwood Municipal Code Section 8.40
City Ordinance: Construction & Demolition Debris Recycling Ordinance
Construction & Demolition (C&D) Debris accounts for a significant portion of the waste going to local landfills. Unlike bottles, cans or newspaper, C&D Debris is more challenging to recycle. To help residents and businesses reduce and recycle more C&D Debris, the City of Brentwood enacted a Construction & Demolition Debris Recycling Ordinance that require a minimum 50% diversion or more of C&D Debris from projects that exceed specified size or cost thresholds.
