What's New
(06/01/2022) To help mitigate the impact of drought on the State, the Governor signed Executive Order N-7-22, asking water agencies to implement actions consistent with Stage 2 of their Water Shortage Contingency Plans. Many Californians and urban water suppliers have taken bold steps over the years to reduce water use but the severity of the current drought requires additional conservation actions from urban water, residents, and the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
Stage 2 of Brentwood's plan asks residents and businesses to voluntarily reduce potable water use by 20 percent compared to 2020. Residents can find their water use by reviewing their billing statements.
(05/25/21) Cycles of heavy rainfall and drought are a part of living in California and the City of Brentwood has always and will continue to encourage our residents to use water wisely. At this time, we ask that you voluntarily conserve water, but know that things may change depending on future state mandates. To help Brentwood utility customers conserve water, we offer free recycled water and free water use evaluations.
