The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), distributed approximately 180 days after the close of the fiscal year, is the financial statements for the City and is prepared in accordance with principles generally accepted in the United States of America as promulgated by the GASB.

Accounting for all of the City's activities are centralized under the Finance Department, which is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the City's recorded financial data. The Finance Department, in conjunction with the City's management, is also responsible for establishing and maintaining an internal control structure designed to ensure that the City's assets are protected from loss, theft or misuse.
